Beth A. Glas
Beth Glas is responsible for the investment management and oversight of the firm’s multi-family, retail, and office portfolio. Her core focus is to ensure that operations and overall performance of each property are in line with the client’s established objectives and to work to the maximum returns on their investments.
Mrs. Glas has over 23 years of experience in the Property Management industry. Prior to joining Ally Capital Group, she served as a Corporate Officer for a Tampa management company working directly with the owners of more than 48 conventional and affordable apartment properties with responsibilities across both management and ownership. On the management front, Mrs. Glas oversaw and handled all aspects of accounting for the multi-family properties as well as the management company. She also headed the creation and implementation of the company’s property management software, Yardi. As a representative of the various ownership structures, she has played key roles in the acquisition, financing, operations, and disposition of multiple asset types.
During her career, Ms. Glas has worked directly with a variety of capital groups on the refinance of more than 60 loans. Over the past 9 years, she has been responsible for several phases of 18 Chapter-11 bankruptcy cases where she worked with attorneys on initial and intermediate filings. In addition, Mrs. Glass was in charge of the production of information required for meetings and hearings as well as provided on-going monthly reports as required by the U.S. trustees and lenders.
Currently, Mrs. Glas is a member of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management) and has completed continuing education courses in Financial Analysis and Investment Real Estate Financing and Valuation.
